Summary:

 

The movie takes place in Rajasthan, and Trishna, a young famer, is working with her father. Coming from a low social class, she met Jay, a rich young man. He offered to her a job as a waitress in a luxury hotel. They started a relationship, against prejudice, and in the middle of a world contaminated by the struggle of social classes.

In a country where the struggle of social classes is omnipresent, the conviction of two people is to fight against it for their love.
