Louis Chauvel

 

Louis Chauvel was born the 2nd November 1967 in Paris. He is a French sociologist specialised in the analysis of the social structure and the generation changing.

 

He published a lot of articles about the rearrangement of the French lower class and the changes of the middle class.

He made his own classification for the news French class ; the lower class, the middle class, the comfort class and the titled class.

 

To him, the social classes in France are very close ; you can change you social class with a lot of difficulty and for the majority of the population, changing is almost impossible.

To him, the inequality between the different social classes still persist in the 21st century in France. And the majority of French population is concentrate in the lower rank.
